The Vellon

Only 48 km. Madrid, in a privileged area between Vega del Jarama and the Sierra Norte is the Vellon.

The two towns that make up the town offer visitors the opportunity to witness the fabulous and contrasts that further enriches their natural heritage. On the one hand and the height of El espartal, characteristic of the plateaus of Castile. And on the other and as we climb toward the heart of El Vellon, witnessing a sharp break with the above where the sandy soil, broom and the plains give the baton to the oaks, mountain stones and ultimately to a more ground propio de la Sierra.

At the northeastern town goes to the Jarama that accompany a large number of tributaries that pass by the discreet gardens and wooded riverbank.

The Espartal

The espartal the hiker is presented as a small nucleus of people warm and gentle in appearance.
